In addition to the resources shared below, UAF staff members regularly visit the school to provide college planning support and resources to students in junior and senior seminar.

• Missouri Family Education Loan Program (MOFELP) – a private student loan program designed to provide borrowing options for MO students who have financial need but may not meet the traditional credit requirements for private loans

• KC Scholars College Savings Match – apply in 9th grade, 529 college savings account with a matching contribution from KC Scholars
• My Missouri Scholarship Promise Program – apply in 9th grade, earn up to $10,000 by completing college-going benchmarks
• KC Scholars Traditional Scholarship – apply in 11th grade, a $10,000/yr scholarship
• Missouri Access EXTRA Scholarship – apply in 12th grade, awarded up to $2,000/yr

High School Internships & Career Programs

• ProX – paid high school internship opportunities at various companies
• YEP KC – paid high school internship opportunities in the Business field
• UMKC: STAHR Scholars Program – program to prepare students to be competitive applicants for health professional programs
• Startland: Social Change Internship – paid internship for students interested in public health, political issues, racial injustice, climate change, or education
• Truman Library Internship Program – internship for students interested in history
• KU Medical Center – opportunities for students interested in the medical field
• Children’s Mercy: Star 2.0 Program – summer research experience for students interested in medicine and/or science
