Kick off global opportunities for UA students! Join us on April 11, 2026, for the University Academy Foundation’s 24th Annual Gala:
One World, One Goal: United by the Game, Inspired by the World.

This year’s World Cup–themed gala celebrates the same spirit of teamwork, exploration, and global connection that defines UA students and alumni. Like the World Cup, University Academy teaches collaboration, courage, and giving your best effort on the field. Whether in the classroom, on the soccer field, or abroad, UA students are learning that success comes from working together, embracing challenges, and taking their best shot—no matter where in the world they are.

One of the most impactful ways the UA Foundation expands students’ horizons is through its transformational Study Abroad Program. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, approximately 20 UA 10th–11th graders study abroad each summer, gaining confidence, independence, and global awareness—skills that give them a stronger foundation for college success than academics alone. 

Since 2004, 276 students have studied in 32 countries, and 70% have graduated from college—proof that these global experiences truly transform lives and open doors to lifelong success. Your support means more students can see the world beyond Kansas City, discover their potential, and return home inspired to lead and give back.

As an event Benefactor, you’ll also be invited to our Patron Party on April 8, 2026, at the home of Janet Curran. This special evening offers a chance to connect with other supporters and celebrate the impact your generosity makes possible.
