Summer Campus Experiences
Summer Campus Experiences Scholarships Available for Upper School Students
UA Foundation offers scholarships for UA 10th-11th graders to attend high school summer campus experiences to build the following skills:
- Build confidence navigating a college campus/acclimate to on-campus life
- Enhance knowledge and experience in a field of study
- Learn about potential majors or intended major
- Experience college classes
- Increase social skills by interacting with college professors and students from different backgrounds
- Increase college acceptances and scholarship opportunities
Program Criteria
A current list of vetted programs is available from the UA college counselor who may refer a student to a particular program or the vetted list of programs to determine the program that is the best fit. Programs must meet, at a minimum, these criteria:
- On a college campus
- Housing included in the program (if overnight)
- Academic focus
- College credit
- Not-for-profit program
- Published program itinerary
- Published program affiliations
- Financial aid is available
