Summer Campus Experiences Scholarships Available for Upper School Students

UA Foundation offers scholarships for UA 10th-11th graders to attend high school summer campus experiences to build the following skills:

  • Build confidence navigating a college campus/acclimate to on-campus life
  • Enhance knowledge and experience in a field of study
  • Learn about potential majors or intended major
  • Experience college classes
  • Increase social skills by interacting with college professors and students from different backgrounds
  • Increase college acceptances and scholarship opportunities

 

Program Criteria

A current list of vetted programs is available from the UA college counselor who may refer a student to a particular program or the vetted list of programs to determine the program that is the best fit. Programs must meet, at a minimum, these criteria:

  •  On a college campus
  • Housing included in the program (if overnight)
  • Academic focus
  • College credit
  • Not-for-profit program
  • Published program itinerary
  • Published program affiliations
  • Financial aid is available
