David was a member of the first UA class to graduate from the new building. He fondly remembers the first day of school in the beautiful new facility. It was a big day with lots of fanfare and celebration. When he walked into the school he was overcome because he realized that the school founders and supporters were the real deal; they cared so much that they built this amazing school for him and his friends. And because of this and the incredible education he received, David is giving back by volunteering as a coach at UA, buying basketball and football shoes for students who canʼt afford them, and now he has created a scholarship for seniors who want to go to a vocational school after graduating from UA! The first Column W. Roseburr Scholarship for Vocational Trades was awarded in May of 2024.
David is very involved in making sure his beloved high school looks great for current students. He owns a thriving landscape company called Roseburr Landscaping and University Academy is a client!
