“At my summer internship, I learned a lot about the aspects and importance of business development. Along with the opportunities the UA Foundation gave me to cultivate or unlock skills that will help me get ahead in my career path. At the Kansas City Zoo and Aquarium, I saw first hand the magic and excitement that kids see and how much work is put into just one day of attending the zoo! I was able to learn about how the rides operate, what is needed to take care of an animal, the conservation efforts taken to ensure a quality zoo and more! I would like to thank the UA Foundation and the Zoo for an opportunity of a lifetime!”
